  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN OPEN HANDS-ON COOKING CLASS AND A PRIVATE HANDS-ON COOKING CLASS?

Open hands-on classes are posted on our online calendar. We pick the menu and people register online for open spots and you get to meet, cook, and eat with other guests. Private hands-on classes are intended to give you the opportunity to make your guest list, pick and cook the menu you wish to prepare with your friends, family or co-workers.

  • HOW DO I SCHEDULE A PRIVATE CLASS OR EVENT?

To schedule a private event, fill out this form or give us a call and we’ll get you set up.

  • HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A CLASS?

For both open and private hands-on cooking classes, and wine classes, we can accommodated up to 16 guests.

  • HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU HOST FOR EVENTS?

For cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and private events, we can accommodate up to 48 guests.

  • DO YOU ALLOW WALK-INS?

All of our fun classes, demonstrations, and events take time to prepare! Our online registration system is key to providing you the best experience. When Alfredo’s Paradiso Kitchen is not conducting a class, tasting, or private event, the Kitchen will be closed to the public.

  • DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE OR TEAM BUILDING CLASSES?

Yes! Cooking together in a corporate event is a great way to get coworkers involved! Once the food is ready, everyone gets to sit together at the table, to eat, drink, and swap stories.

  • DO YOU EVER HAVE TO CANCEL A CLASS?

Unfortunately, it could happen but we will always do our best to avoid this. If this happens, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and get you into another class.

  • IS DRINKING ALLOWED DURING HANDS-ON COOKING CLASSES?

Yes! We intend for our classes to be educational, interactive and above all fun! We have a great selection of red, white and sparkling wines and beers available for in-house purchase.

  • DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

We look forward to working with young chefs! At the moment, we do not have any classes set for kids. If you’re interested in classes for kids, check back in with us at a later time or better yet, send us an email at info@alfredoparadisokitchen.com expressing your interest and we’ll be sure to reach out to you as soon as we post the kids classes.

  • FOR THE MORE EXPERIENCED/PROFESSIONAL CHEFS, DO YOU OFFER ANY COMPETITIVE CLASSES?

Yes! We will be adding a mystery box competition (similar to the TV show Chopped) for the more experienced and professional chefs. For this competition, 2-4 chefs will face off against each other to prepare a meal using the ingredients within the master box. If you are interested in participating in the competition, email us at info@alfredoparadisokitchen.com and we’ll be sure to put set one up as soon as possible.

  • CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?

We can try our best but open classes are pre-set and we cook everything family style. If you do have an allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know at the time of registration and we’ll see what we can do! If you’re a private event host you get to build your own menu.

  • ARE THE HANDS-ON CLASSES ADA AND WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes! Our entire location is both ADA and wheelchair accessible. Our teaching island counter is also custom built to host wheelchair accessibility and counter height.

  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We need 72 hours advance notice if you need to cancel. If you cancel within less than 72 hours of your event, you are responsible for the full cost of your registration. Keep in mind that your seat is transferrable, so if you can’t make it but a friend can take your place, that’s cool with us!

  • IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ON THE ALFREDO’S PARADISO KITCHEN WEBSITE?

Yes! Our website has an SSL Encryption to ensure security for all online payments on our site.

  • SHOULD I TIP THE STAFF?

This is totally up to you. For the Hands-On Cooking classes, demonstrations, and tastings, the Chef instructor, Chef Assistant and our kitchen staff work hard, and love what they do. If you feel they made your experience extra special, we’re sure they’ll appreciate it. As for private events that require a wait staff, an automatic gratuity will be added.

  • DO YOU USE THE KITCHEN FOR ANYTHING ELSE?

We do! During the day, the kitchen is closed to the public but our Alfredo’s Paradiso Ristorante staff utilizes this kitchen as an extra prep space for the restaurant. Also, we look forward to offer catering companies and other professionals looking for access to professional kitchen equipment and workspace on an hourly or day basis.
